Woohoo! Spring Festival Holidays from Jan 25th – Feb 5th!

January 25, 20252 minute read

The Spring Festival, China’s grandest traditional festival, is a time of joy and reunion.

Falling on the first day of the first lunar month, it usually lasts about 15 days. In the days leading up to it, people clean their houses from top to bottom, believing it sweeps away bad luck. Red decorations, like couplets and lanterns, adorn every corner, filling the air with a festive atmosphere. Red symbolizes good fortune and happiness in Chinese culture.

On New Year’s Eve, families gather for a sumptuous reunion dinner. Dishes like dumplings and fish are must-haves, carrying wishes for wealth and abundance. After dinner, staying up late is a tradition, waiting for the arrival of the new year. Fireworks light up the sky at midnight, scaring away evil spirits.

During the festival, people visit relatives and friends, exchanging greetings and red envelopes. Dragon and lion dances add to the excitement. The Spring Festival is not just a holiday but a cultural treasure, spreading warmth and blessings far and wide.

Come and experience this unique celebration!
