University Introduction
The University is a provincial key university co-administered by Jiangsu Provincial Government and the National Ministry of Education. In 2017, it enters into the list of “Double First-Class” Initiative to participate in the country’s construction plan of world-class universities and first-class disciplines.
The university has 24 colleges, offering comprehensive programs with emphasis on resources, ecology and environment. It has 1 national “Double First-Class” construction discipline of forestry engineering, 2 first-level national key disciplines of forestry engineering and ecology, 4 second-level national key disciplines of forest genetics and breeding, chemical processing engineering of forest products, wood science and technology, and forest protection science, as well as 10 Jiangsu Provincial key disciplines.
