City Introduction
Wuhan is the capital of Hubei Province in the People’s Republic of China. It is the largest city in Hubei and the most populous city in Central China, with a population of over eleven million, the ninth-most populous Chinese city and one of the nine National Central Cities of China.

University Introduction
The disciplines and specialties are complete and the structure is reasonable. The school has 1 authorized point for doctoral degree in first-class discipline, 9 authorized points for master’s degree in first-class discipline and 11 authorized categories for master’s degree. There are 77 undergraduate majors, covering 11 disciplines such as economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, and art. Seven majors have been selected as national first-class undergraduate majors, 25 majors have been selected as provincial first-class undergraduate majors, chemical engineering and technology majors have passed the professional certification of engineering education, and clinical medicine majors have passed the professional certification of the Ministry of Education.
Five national first-class undergraduate courses and 32 provincial first-class undergraduate courses were approved. There are 4 provincial practice training bases, 9 provincial graduate education innovation bases and 9 provincial graduate workstations. The school has one provincial-level domestic first-class discipline construction discipline, five provincial-level dominant discipline groups and five provincial key disciplines (including cultivation), and environmental science and engineering disciplines rank among the top 1% in ESI global rankings.
